Fun at the Bio Park

This past Friday was Jack's last day of summer vacation.  So the kids and I headed to the Bio Park (the aquarium & botanical garden).  I hadn't been to the aquarium since Jimmy and I were dating, and the kids had never been.  And the only time we've been to the botanical garden is when we go during December when we go look at the zoo lights.  So here are a few pictures from our trip!

As soon as we walked into the aquarium, Luke (at the top of his lungs) kept saying, "WHOAAAA!!!"

We told Jimmy we needed one of these for our house!

absolutely mesmerized!

Luke would only get close to the glass if I was near him.

In the children's section of the botanical garden is a castle.  And when you walk into that castle, it's like you walked into a scene from "Honey I Shrunk the Kids".  So they played for awhile on the log slide.

At least our daredevil will go down the slide on his stomach!

One happy little girl!

After the slide we walked through a giant pumpkin and then came upon the carrots.  When I told the kids to smile for the camera, Kate grabbed her pants and hiked up her leg like this.....don't ask me why....

Next to the children's castle, there is a place with a few model trains.  If you listen closely, you may be able to hear Luke screaming, "choo-choo!!!  choo-choo!!!"
