Reading out of the Bible and doing our Advent Calendar
Sleeping underneath the Christmas tree
making food for the birds (read The Night Tree by Eve Bunting)
in Durango, CO with Natalie & Avery
watching for the train
here comes the train!
heading to the North Pole!
Santa Claus at the North Pole!
Santa came onboard the train and gave each kid a silver bell
after our ride, we got to see some real reindeer and then take a turn sitting on Santa's lap
the Durango train station
decorating cookies for Santa...well, he's suppose to be....
Christmas Eve program at church...Jack's on stage so naturally he's inner-rock-n-roll persona comes out!
looking over his lines real quick before his turn to read
he did a FANTASTIC job!!!
singing "Go Tell It On the Mountain"
here comes the innkeeper
and his daughter!
She got so engrossed with watching everybody else, she didn't realize her group had already left the stage! Then when she got back to her seat, someone was sitting in it so she just stood there for a bit before sitting down. We were just glad there weren't any tears! :)
And luckily for Mom and Dad, Luke slept through the whole thing!
back at home making sure the fireplace cover will come open when Santa gets to our house
setting out the milk and cookies!
checking NORAD to see where Santa is...he was in Newfoundland, Canada and there was a sudden mash dash upstairs and in bed!...evidently on that little screen NM and Newfoundland are not that far apart.....
checking out what Santa left us!
