Our Home in Ireland!

I finally figured out how to access my blog again.  So here we go!.........

We have now been in Ireland a little over 3 weeks now.  We live about 30 minutes west from the center of Dublin.  Our house is in a very rural area but Jimmy's drive to Intel is only about 20 minutes.  Here are the pictures I took today of the house.  I will blog tomorrow or Sunday about what we've been up to!

We drive a caddy!  Ha!  It fits 8 people, so we have plenty of room.  But parking lots/spaces are not fun.

the neighbors :)  The black faced sheep are my favorite because of their floppy ears.  There are white faced sheep and about 4 cows that they rotate on the pastures surrounding our house.  The man who owns our house, his parents live across the pasture and farm this land.  His brother and family live across the road.

Our house was built about 3 years ago, but was made to look like an old farmhouse.

Walking straight out of the entryway, you come into this sitting area.  A stove is suppose to be installed there next week.

Off to the left of this sitting room is what we call the TV room (it's the only room in the house with a t.v.)

Immediately to the right of the stairs is Kate's room.

One side of her closet - the rooms were built to accommodate a small bathroom for each room.  They weren't finished that way, so we lucked out by having fairly big closets.  There are shelves like these on the other side of her closet.

Next to Kate's room is the boys' room.
